About Us
United Truck And Trailer Drivers Welfare Association (UTTDWA) formerly known as Nigeria Trailer And Truck Drivers Association (NTTDA) is an association to cater for the welfare of truckers across the states of Nigeria.

To unite all truck and trailer drivers across the 36 States of Nigeria including FCT, and by extension, to our neighboring countries

Our Mission
To build truck and trailer parks across the states to enable all our members park, rest or sleep without fear of his or her truck being vandalized.
To have a training school for all new applicants (motor mates) with collaboration of government agencies to enable them to understand the rules of engagement before applying as motor mate. Read more

- To ensure all our members are free from harassment and extortion by illegal task agencies.
- To ensure all our members are free from unlawful detentions.
- To protect all our members from unwarranted termination of employment.
- To assist any of our members who are in hard terms.
- To discourage all our members from misappropriation of company assets in their custody.
- To raise awareness of the importance of truck and trailer drivers in the country.
- To re-write our names from “common drivers” to delivery officers (D.Os.)
- To ensure only properly qualified, capable and lawfully licenced drivers move truck and trailer on Nigerian road, and for the safety of Nigerian in general.
Services
Membership
Our membership is open to all drivers of trucks with 6-12 tires and trailers with 14 tires and above nationwide. You may register online or at any of our offices in all the states of the federation including the FCT. Register Now

We take the welfare of our memebers as our top priority. We care for all irrespective of tribe, religion or ethnic diversity
Rescue Mission
The association provides assistances to members in time of trouble. From recorvery of stolen batteries to recue from assualts and harrassment we are there for our members.
Recruitment
One of our visions is for the association to be made up of responsible truck and trailer drivers. To achieve this we shall be involved in enlisting and recruiting drivers of good repute and skills
Incident Reporting
We make use of all available platforms to report any incidents on all the roads accross the states of Nigeria
Training
We shall be engaging our members on defensive and other driving techniques with collaboration with government agencies
